Questions & Answers

Can I upgrade instruments before the end of the rental period?

Yes. The principle that you have paid toward the purchase price of the instrument(s) will roll over to the next rental or can be used to discount the price of an instrument purchase. The maintenance and replacement fee, however, does not roll over. This trade-in credit will be subject to the returned condition of the rental.

Can I return my instrument before the end of rental period?

Yes. You can bring it by anytime during our normal business hours- no appointment necessary. Provided there are no serious damages done to the instrument upon its return, the deposit will be refunded back to the card on file.

What does my rental include?

All rentals include an appropriate case and bow for violins and violas, or bag and bow for cello and bass. Rentals DO NOT include any other accessories, i.e rosin, shoulder rests, rock stops, sheet music, etc. Every instructor has a preference on what they would like their student to have. For this reason we do not include this items.

Is there a price limit on rentals?

Instruments sold on consignment cannot be rented. The full cost of the instrument varies on the rental level selected. This price will be listed on your rental contract. We typically offer two rental price points (beginner and intermediate) for violin, viola, cello and one for bass (Beginner)

When do I get billed?

Rentals are billed on the first of each month and are charged to the debit/credit card on file. If the account falls delinquent, a late fee is charged.
