Certificate of Authenticity by Paul Childs January 2021
Description by Childs:
"I hearby certify that the bass bow described below was made, in my opinion, by the Morizot brothers in Mirecourt for the firm of Paul Beuscher of Paris circa 1950. It bears the latter's brand stamp.
The stick is octagonal and has a length of 67.2 cm.
It is of a golden orange pernamucco of superior quality. The model of the head is typical of the Morizots' work of this period.
The frog is of ebony and silver and has Parisian eyes. The button is of silver on ebony and its collar has a second cut.
At this time this bow is in excellent condition."
