The case features a patented "Steel Shield" shell that allows the case to do away with the more traditional heavy plywood constructions, while reducing the weight significantly. It's also heat-resistant! There's a spacious sheet music pouch on the back of the case, along with retractable backpack straps. A great viola case for a great value!

Pedi's soft and well-padded backpack system can be folded back into a special pocket when you don't need them, eliminating the annoyance of flapping straps.
The music pocket is over-sized allowing you to actually use it to store music. It also includes another smaller pocket inside that can be used to stow items like tuners, pencils or even your mobile phone.

First Impressions
We stopped here to see about getting an upgraded violin for my son going into HS orchestra. First impressions are valuable and we were impressed! The shop itself is like a European violin shop - it has that small, warm, well kept old world vibe. It belongs on a small, off the main path cobbled street with a coffee shop next door. It even has its own workshop for working on instruments.
