The John Juzek Model 109 violin is handcrafted in the Czech Republic using carefully selected European tonewoods. The solid spruce top and beautifully flamed two-piece maple back create both visual elegance and tonal strength. Hand-inlaid purfling and graceful arching reflect the careful attention to detail found in Juzek’s traditional small workshop setting.
Finished in a durable red-brown gloss varnish with subtle shading, this model offers a rich and warm appearance that complements its focused sound. The Model 109 is outfitted with ebony fittings, a Wittner tailpiece, and your choice of Dominant or Tonica strings for tonal flexibility and easy tuning. Each instrument is professionally set up in Juzek’s Vermont workshop to ensure smooth playability and reliable performance from the first note.
