Made in a small workshop in the Czech Republic, the Juzek 109 violin is an excellent option for the aspiring musician. These instruments have great attention to detail, from the hand-inlaid purfling to the graceful arch shape. The 109 has great projection, excellent tuning stability, and is fully set up for easy playability here in our Tampa workshop. The durable gloss finish is an attractive red-brown hue with light shading, and the wood is beautifully flamed European maple. The Juzek 109 comes standard with a solid spruce top, ebony fittings, and a Wittner tailpiece.

First Impressions
We stopped here to see about getting an upgraded violin for my son going into HS orchestra. First impressions are valuable and we were impressed! The shop itself is like a European violin shop - it has that small, warm, well kept old world vibe. It belongs on a small, off the main path cobbled street with a coffee shop next door. It even has its own workshop for working on instruments.
